Max Doblhoff & Idd Aziz presenting MAMA JO the new Single from their upcoming Album AFRICALA in 2016.
The relationship to East Africa/Kenya started when he first played a Live DJ set in the so called Club Sikiliza at Village Market Nairobi in 2003. Max was jaming with some well known local musicians like Idd Aziz on Percussions & the voice of Mercy Myra supported by Funky George on Sax (Austria) and Stoney the Flute (Austria) he had two legendary bookings in Nairobi 2003 & 2004. The musical connection never stoped and after releasing DJEMAA feat. IDD AZIZ in 2014 Max and Idd finished their Studio productions for their upcoming Releases in 2016.
Analogue samples, coming from live recorded instruments like Kalimba, Percussions, Bass, Drums & Guitars are used whereas digital elements are reduced giving the production character & flair by the warm analogue sound.
